Job description:

Job Summary

We are seeking someone that is skilled in light mechanical and carpentry work for our farm. 

We have many pieces of equipment and loads of work that needs to be done. 

This requires an autonomous worker that is ok with working on their own, gathering their own materials and being able to assess their job requirements and needs. 

Duties:

General Labor

Servicing equipment 

Building and maintaining fencing

Building and maintaining buildings

Cleaning and organizing tools and spaces in our various shops

General Maintenance 

Light Animal Husbandry 

Some General Gardening

Some General Mushroom Growing

Set up and take down of events 

General Cleaning 

Qualifications:

Proven experience with mechanics 

Proven experience with building and carpentry 

Farm experience 

Able to work alone

Self motivated 

Willingness to learn new things

Own Vehicle 

Heavy Equipment experience 

Able to source job materials and get them 

Knowledge of electrical (An Asset)
