Beekeeping Workshop Part 1
For our workshops, please make sure you are aware of the date and time of class as well as the location in the description below
Tentatively June 21st
1st part in a series of monthly workshops. The first course includes all the gear you will need to keep your bees including the bees. Bee suit, full hive starter kit with all of the tools and of course the bees. Hives will arrive ahead of time if you wish to decorate them.
If you are unable to keep the bees at your location they can be housed at Radical Gardens farm this allows everyone to learn how to keep bees. We will also house them over winter.
FOR THOSE OF YOU CHOOSING THE HAVE ALL THE STUFF OPTION, YOU ABSOLUTELY MUST BRING YOUR BEE SUIT OR YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO ATTEND THE CLASS
Looking to be the 2nd last week of june, unable to give specific date yet due to waiting on weather cause bee's won't be kept in the rain or on a cloudy day. Also depends on the date we will be picking up Bee nucs as well. But roughly the beginning of July, once it gets closer we will have a better idea.
